Taking a Break from Teaching

Well, ladies and laddies, I’m taking a break from teaching. Time to revamp and revitalize! In the meantime, here are some amazing instructors you can learn from:

TMCC – Christina Carver/Minya of Asha teaches an amazing tribal fusion class for a terrific price. I can’t recommend her enough!!!

Achieve Fitness Reno – Nouri of Asha is teaching a class to benefit the Dadima SEEDs program (Self Esteem Empowerment and Education through Dance). He’s a marvelous instructor and teaches tribal fusion. Also teaching there is Debby Lammam who teaches Salimpour method.

Allison Prater – through Washoe County Community Services where I used to teach. Terrific lady who teaches tribal fusion!

Rabia – not sure where she’s teaching at present, but she can be found in the phone book under “bellydance by Rabia”.  Lovely woman who teaches cabaret style bellydance, plus many folkloric styles such as Persian, Tunisian, and Morrocan.

Classes starting for spring semester!

My Washoe County Community Services courses begin this week on Wednesday! You can sign up through the link on the right for Beginning or Int/Adv – just type in “belly” for the search term. The Int/Adv class has only one person in it so far, so you’ll be getting pretty personalized teaching at this point!

TMCC class taught by Minya and I starts Friday the 5th – the link is also to the right.

It’s a site!

Woo! Well, I added my class links in the left hand column, and if you check out the page labeled “My History as a Student and Teacher” it gives you a bit of my history as a student and teacher and details about the classes I teach.
