Join Asha World Dancers, and the Reno Bellydance Community in welcoming Santa Fe Belly Dancer and Instructor, Myra Krien! We will be presenting belly dance extravaganza “Feast of Hathor” featuring our special guest artist Myra Krien. We will also be welcoming Slow Djinn Fez back to the stage as well as many local belly dance favorites the night of Friday September 24th at the Mckinley Arts Center at 925 Riverside Dr. in Reno. Doors open at 7:00, show starts at 7:30, admission is $10.00.
After an evening of amazing dance, we know you will be inspired to take one or both of Myra Krien’s Tribal Fusion workshops at the Evelyn Mount Community Center, 1301 Valley Rd. Reno. Classes will be held Saturday, September 25th and are two hours each, one at 9am, another at noon. They are $44 per class or $75 for both. Belly Dancers from beginning to experienced will be welcome.
“Myra Krien is a renowned Middle Eastern dance artist, an international performer, choreographer and teacher of belly dance. Krien has performed on some of Americas most prestigious stages, toured internationally, performed for PBS and Japanese television and been reviewed by national publications such as Dance Magazine, Bliss and the Santa Fean.
